Origin and Composition
This remarkable vintage is composed of 92% Pinot Noir from Grand Cru vineyards in Aÿ, Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay, and Bouzy, and 8% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs villages of Avize, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The grapes were selected from the finest plots of the Champagne region and matured for six years in the Veuve Clicquot cellars, resulting in an extraordinary depth and balance. La Grande Dame 2015 received an outstanding 95-point rating from Wine Spectator.
