Pol Roger champagne

Champagne house Pol Roger was founded in 1849 in Épernay. The champagnes from this winery are known for the significant presence of Chardonnay. 45% of the grapes come from their own harvest. Pol Roger champagne was the favorite champagne of Winston Churchill, the British statesman even named his best racehorse after Pol Roger. The prestige cuvée still carries the nickname 'Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill.'
