Dom Pérignon 2015 | Limited Edition: Jean-Michel Basquiat Blue 75 CL
This unique collaboration with Basquiat has created a beautiful interaction between two creative icons. Both excel in their field; Where Basquiat creates sensational creations with texts, symbols and images, Dom Perignon produces a skillful and distinctive champagne by combining unique vintages and blends into a sparkling iconic champagne.
The Limited Edition consists of three items, in the colors yellow, blue and green. All three are available at Champagneshop.
The 2015 wine year was characterized by uncommon changes in the weather. There was extreme heat, lots of sun and a lot of drought. The summer was unusually hot, with the hottest August in the Champagne region in 45 years. The harvest in 2015 started earlier than usual. The Pinot Noir grapes were excellent, but the Chardonnay grapes had grown unevenly due to the weather conditions. This meant they had to be carefully sorted.
