In the book 'Diamonds are Forever' (1956), the champagne was first mentioned. In the 1979 film 'Moonraker,' Bollinger champagne made its first appearance. James Bond (Roger Moore) enjoys a glass of Bollinger champagne while charming a blonde. Since then, Bollinger has become synonymous with James Bond films.
Blend
The Special Cuvée is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, and 15% Pinot Meunier. More than 85% of the grapes come from premier and grand cru vineyards. The champagne is aged for a minimum of 30 months in Bollinger's cellars and has a dosage of 8 g/l.
